Rod Blanchette

MY STORY 

Born in Birmingham, England, near Aston Park, till I was 8, then we moved to South, Winnipeg, Canada, where I grew up, worked, and studied in the industry for over 20 years, deep in graphic design, video, and website development, while adapting to changes in design, technology, and digital media. At Red River Technical College, I pursued Business Administration and furthered my studies in global e-commerce and entrepreneurship, working alongside a great team while serving as Vice President of College Council and President of the Entrepreneur’s Club. Those moments and hands-on experiences shaped a big part of my leadership, creative and business instincts. Thereafter, I embarked into the real-world of business, working with corporations and agencies, providing advanced digital media solutions while navigating rapid technological shifts.

In the late 90s, I launched my first company, Stormfx Multimedia, which I later sold before returning to corporate work. Since then, I’ve been bringing the latest emerging technologies and high-quality digital assets/ content to local and mid-sized businesses at affordable prices, helping them tell their stories through cinematic visuals and strategic design.

I combine old-school craftsmanship with new-school innovation to create content that actually connects.
